Homemade Rotisserie Chicken Broth

SOUP

Homemade Rotisserie Chicken Broth

spinach artichoke chicken sandwich

Flavor bomb any recipe that uses chicken broth with this cheap & easy homemade rotisserie chicken broth.

Watch cooking video HERE.

Ingredients
  • 1 rotisserie chicken (I like Costco's!)

  • Water

  • Crock pot

Instructions
  1. Cut out breasts from rotisserie chicken and use for another recipe.

  2. Remove any ties or binding from the chicken and place in a crock pot.

  3. Fill crockpot with water so chicken is submerged (the more water, the more broth, but it'll be less flavorful - the less water, the more flavorful - it's up to you!).

  4. Put on the lid and turn on Low heat for 8 hours.

  5. Remove chicken from crock pot and pick off the meat left on the chicken. Add chicken to broth and voila!

  6. Optional: Once the broth has cooled a little bit, you can put it in a gallon ziploc and freeze it for later.

See Doctored-Up Instant Ramen recipe for a unique way to use this chicken broth!

As Remy from the Disney movie 'Ratatouille' would say, "Anyone can cook!"
